About Us

Brian is the most long-anticipated and beloved dog of the Stuart-Andrews family, based in West London. In 2020 we found ourselves living our lives in a slightly different way than we had previously and, along with many others, we spent much more time working at home with a new puppy. This led to a lot of research into the type of food and treats that were good for Brian — and that he loved.

Our Story

Brian is the heart of our family and the inspiration behind Brian Recommends Dog Treats. What started as curiosity about healthier options became a passion for simple, natural ingredients and carefully chosen chews. We learned quickly that quality matters — and that dogs know the difference.

The Beginning

We spent a lot of time testing recipes for healthy, tasty dog treats, and Brian worked hard on tasting them — along with the natural chews that we stock. Our business started in farmers’ markets in and around West London. Meeting dogs (and their humans!) became the best part of what we do. Our homemade range has evolved with real-time feedback from our lovely customers.

All Natural and Healthy

Our aim is to provide a great range of natural chews and nutritious training treats at a fair price. We only use the best quality ingredients with no additives or preservatives, and our products are naturally dried. Everything is taste-tested by our Irish Terrier CEO, Brian, and also has to pass the “not too gross or smelly” test set by Mum.
